New Ridesharing Program Comes to Kentucky

October 24, 2016

Congregations in Kentucky have a new opportunity for carpooling to their houses of worship. Cardinal Directions, a ridesharing service facilitated by the University of Louisville through RideAmigos, allows residents from all over the state to connect with other residents who are going  to the same location to promote carpooling; this will allow members of faith communities who live in the same area to coordinate rides to and from worship services, reducing the congregation’s carbon footprint and building a stronger community.

Interested congregations can contact Kentucky Interfaith Power and Light if their worship center is not currently listed on the site.
