St. James Episcopal Church working on Creation Care issues.

St. James Episcopal is Going Green 

St. James Episcopal Church in Pewee Valley is beginning to work on creation care issues. They have had an energy audit performed for the facilities and Sextan Jan Abrams has been replacing their old lighting with compact flourescent bulbs. They have reusable cups, dishes and utensils for community events and they have recycle bins on site for collection. Rector Rev. Jim Trimble is committed to creation care and recently invited KIPL's Tim Darst to guest preach a sermon on the issue.
