St. Peter the Apostle Parish is Thinking Green 

St. Peter the Apostle is building a new facility on its Johnsontown Road Campus in Louisville. They had a salvage/recycle company come in prior to demolition to recycle materials in an effort to reduce the amount of material going into the landfill. The parish is also working "green" into the new design of the church and facilities with the use of geo-thermal for heating and air and ensuring that there is green space on campus. They have also signed the St. Francis of Assisi Pledge
