Action Alert

Stop Coal Plants
There are currently seven coal-fired power plants slated for construction in Kentucky.  Coal-fired power plants are some of the worst polluters and the biggest contibutors to global warming.  "Clean Coal" is is not clean at all.  In a recent Business Week article, The Dirty Truth About Clean Coal, Blan Holman, an attorney with the Southern Environmental Law Center in Charleston, S.C. says "Clean coal' is like a healthy cigarette, it doesn't exist."

We need to let our Senators and Representatives know that we don't want any more coal-fired power plants.
