This February 11-13 over 400 houses of worship across almost all 50 states are participating in Interfaith Power and Light?s second annual National Preach-In On Global Warming.
Come to Frankfort for I Love Mountains
Join us in Frankfort for I Love Mountains Day Monday, February 14th! Bring a banner of sign to identify your congregation so that lawmakers will see how important this issue is to people of faith.
So save the date, schedule a day off from work or school, tell your friends, family, church groups and congregation members to plan to come, and join us for our trip to Frankfort on Valentine's Day.

KIPL is joining forces with Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Church?s Green Sanctuary Committee in offering free bus rides to I Love Mountains Day Monday, February 14th!

Caring for God's Creation: A Call to Action
On Saturday, Feb. 5, First United Methodist Church, First Christian Church, The Green Chalice and Frankfort Climate Action Network will host a free afternoon workshop featuring Dr. Matthew Sleeth and his wife, Nancy. The event, "Caring for God's Creation: A Call to Action," begins at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church's Asbury Hall, in the Wesley Center adjacent to the sanctuary, 211 Washington Street, Frankfort.

Mark Steiner has joined Kentucky Interfaith Power and Light as our new Outreach and Program Director. Mark brings to the table 20 years experience offering programs exploring the connections between spirituality and the environment. He also served as the Director of Programming for the Center for Interfaith Relations for three years where he developed programs around faith and ecology.
