The Kentucky Department for Air Quality has scheduled a public hearing to take comments on the pollution permit for Eastern Kentucky Power Cooperative's proposed coal-burning power plant. The Smith plant in Clark County would cost more than $800 million, is unneeded, and poses significant threats to our air, water and health. Please come to the Clark County Cooperative Extension, 1400 Fortune Drive, Winchester on February 4 at 6:30 p.m.
