Kentucky IPL volunteers met with lots of folks at the Deer Park Neighborhood Association Environmental Village as part of the Belknap Fall Festival and the Week In The Highlands. Volunteers used solar energy to power a sewing machine to convert old t-shirts into cloth shopping bags. They also baked chocolate cookies in a sun oven.
